We recommend those that can be sprayed manually rather than those that are plugged in continuously. This way, if you have any guests that are sensitive to strong smells, they can simply not use it during their stay.

2) Soap dispenser

A soap dispenser is a must in any bathroom. Your guests will appreciate not having to search for a place to put their bar of soap. Plus, it just looks more polished and put together. Some designs we really love lately are gold and marble.

3) Toilet brush

Be sure to have a toilet brush on hand in case your guests need to do a little cleaning of their own. I look 3m hooks because they don’t damage and come in colors such as silver to replicate stainless steel so they are perfect for airbnbs. I put these in each bathroom so that my guests have a place to hang their towels, robes, etc. Usually I place these on the back of the bathroom door.

We recommend getting a small, lidded trash can so that it doesn’t take up too much space and can be easily hidden away. We recommend keeping at least two spare rolls in the bathroom at all times, just to be safe. And don’t skimp on the quality, either. Of course, you’ll need to provide towels for your guests. We recommend having at least two bath towels and two hand towels per person, just to be safe. We typically go with plain white so that they match any bathroom decor and can be easily bleached if necessary.

8) Bath mat

A bath mat is a must in any bathroom, both for safety and style. Your guests will appreciate having a place to step out of the shower or bath without getting their feet wet. Plus, it just looks nicer than a bare floor. We love the look of a plush, white bath mat. But you could also used towel floor mats as well.

9) Shower curtain

If you have a shower in your Airbnb rental, you’ll need a shower curtain. Be sure to get a liner for it that’s heavy duty and won’t let water escape onto the floor. We also recommend getting a white or light-colored curtain so that the space feels light and airy. It always gives us a hotel vibe with that style.

10) Hair dryer

A hair dryer is a must have, we’d recommend one in every bathroom. The good news is you can find them very inexpensively these days. Just be sure to get one that is dual voltage if you’ll have international guests.

Bath mats are a must in any bathroom, both for safety and style. Your guests will appreciate having a place to step out of the shower or bath without getting their feet wet. Plus, it just looks nicer than a bare floor. We love the look of a plush, white bath mat.

12) Bathroom Mirror

They’ll need somewhere to check their hair and makeup before heading out for the day. We recommend getting a large mirror so that there’s plenty of space for everyone. And if you really want to go above and beyond, get a fog-free mirror so your guests can see themselves clearly even after a hot shower.

Good lighting is a must in any bathroom. Your guests will need plenty of light to see while they’re getting ready. We recommend getting some bright, white light bulbs to put in all the fixtures. And takes the headache out of restocking for you!
